Assistant Manager – Finance HSBC
Job description
• Assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day administration of all accounting transa*ctions.
• Supervision of accounting records and preparation of financial reports in accordance with FIM and Group reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support the Finance Manager in the daily transa*ction payment processing, tax compliance, custody and maximization of company funds and analysis of financial data.
• Cash flow management and monitoring.
• Payments made are duly authorized with supporting d*ocuments attached in line with the company policies & procedures.
• Timely and accurate reporting for all related returns on invoices, Statistics, VAT, aging, MI schedules etc.
• Liaison with BPs & compliance with Commercial terms.
• Ensure timely collections trade debtors. This includes dispute management.
• Ensure proper payments controls & procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices and ensuring completeness of information within invoices.
• Assist in inter-company confirmation for Services Billed / Trade Debtors.

• Support monthly closing and coordinate with Reporting team to ensure necessary journals are made on provisions / accruals of expenses.

• Ensure integrity of financial information expenses/revenues by verifying, consolidating & recording transa*ctions.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing expense report.
• Ensure all entries have the adequate supported d*ocuments.
• General filing & control all accounts d*ocuments.
• Preparing Vendors transfers/checks plus withholding tax if any.
• Perform Vendor/Ledger reports requested by the business
Desired Skills and Experience
• Ability to work under pressure and overtime.
• 1 to 3 years experience in relative position.
• Good knowledge of computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Good knowledge of accounting ERP systems.
